The 23rd European Congress of Pathology (ECP 2011), will be held in Helsinki, Finland, from 27 August to 1 September, 2011.

On behalf of the European Society of Pathology and the Finnish Society of Pathology, we warmly invite you to join us in Helsinki and be part of the largest gathering of pathologists in Europe in 2011.

Educational Courses of the ESP will also be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Saturday, 3 September 2011, following the Congress.

The scope of pathology is expanding with the integration of molecular technology with more traditional but sophisticated morphology-based diagnostic pathology to determine not only the diagnosis of disease but the assessment of its clinical implications.

Hence, the motto of ECP2011: Pathology – diagnostic, prognostic, predictive.
