On behalf of the Croatian Society of Pathology and Forensic Medicine and the Pannonian Working Group of Gastrointestinal Pathology, it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in a hybrid course entitled “Highlights of the Lower GI Tract” offering both, in person and live stream option to participate virtually through our meeting platform.
The meeting will be held at the University of Zagreb Medical School, Department of Pathology, on May 16th and 17th 2025.
The meeting is under the auspices of University of Zagreb Faculty of Medicine.

The course will start with a welcome reception (at the Department of Pathology). The cost is included in the fee.
The course will cover interesting topics of the lower GI tract presented by Pannonian and well-known international speakers and provide a comprehensive overview of the lower GI tract, including new, rare or diagnostically challenged topics of the large bowel pathology.
At the end of each course topic, challenging cases from the Pannonian countries will be presented by residents and young pathologists and discussed at the end of each course topic, respectfully.
Please be advised to book your accommodation on time since Zagreb, as a Croatian capital city, attracts a large number and a variety of visitors.
