Update in Pulmonary, Gynecologic and Breast Pathology

This symposium is presented by the faculty from the Department of Pathology at the University of Michigan, in collaboration with pathology colleagues from the University of Split. The meeting intends to address the educational requirements of practicing pathologists, residents, and fellows.

At the end of this course, participants will have a better understanding of diagnostic challenges in tumor classification using up-to-date WHO criteria, application of ancillary studies as diagnostic tools and biomarkers of greatest prognostic and therapeutic relevance, as well as the impact of changes in AJCC staging rules. In addition to neoplastic conditions, the symposium will also cover a range of common non-neoplastic entities important for community-based pathologists.
