A free virtual symposium: 15-16 November 2022
Guidelines advocate standardised histopathology reporting with each data element categorised as either core (required) or non-core (recommended), irrespective of the clinical scenario. However, the clinical significance of a data item in an individual case often depends on the clinicopathological setting; a data item may be critical in some scenarios but of little clinical utility in other settings. Pathologists must understand how their data is used in clinical practice so that they can focus their limited resources appropriately and facilitate Personalised Medicine.
The British Association of Urological Pathologists (BAUP) in conjunction with the British Association of Gynaecological Pathologists (BAGP), Association of Breast Pathology (ABP) and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) is organising a free 2-day virtual symposium on 15-16 November 2022 entitled “Personalised Histopathology Reporting for Personalised Medicine” focusing on how histopathology data is used in clinical practice. The programme (attached) will include sessions in uropathology, gynaecological pathology, breast pathology and gastrointestinal pathology.
