The European Society of Pathology (ESP) is happy to announce the ESP Pathology Progress Test (PPT) 2024!

The Test will be launched on Wednesday, 13 November 2024, in celebration of the International Pathology Day 2024, and will remain available for several weeks.

We warmly invite all interested Pathologists to participate in the ESP PPT!

The ESP PPT is developed and supervised by the ESP Education Subcommittee, with contribution from Experts and Volunteers.
The ESP PPT is primarily intended for trainees, but any pathologist curious to submit their knowledge base to the test is welcome to participate. The test consists of 120 questions in a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. The questions are partly text only, partly still image-based, and partly virtual slide-based. The targeted level is a trainee at the end of a residency programme. The test comprises mostly of questions with a purely diagnostic orientation, but also of questions on molecular pathology and on techniques used in modern pathology.

The ESP PPT is offered free of charge to all, regardless of their ESP membership status. ESP members with active membership for 2024 will additionally receive a personalised certificate for their participation and access to the correct answers of PPT 2024!
